Avanti
The Battle of Avanti was fought in 342 BC in Ganges Valley during the Mahajanapada era, a land engagement against Avanti. It ended in victory for the Indian side.
Historical Note
Shishunaga of Magadha absorbed Avanti — the last great kingdom outside Magadhan control — after a century-long war. The Mauryas would later inherit a unified north because of this victory.
