Sneferu

Sneferu was an Egyptian pharaoh active in the 26th c. BC during the Old Kingdom period from the state of 4th Dynasty. Died of natural causes.
Historical Note
Built three pyramids while working out the engineering. The Meidum collapsed; the Bent Pyramid changed angle midway; the Red Pyramid finally got it right. Father of Khufu, and pioneer of the smooth-sided form.
