Unifier of the Two Lands

Narmer was an Egyptian pharaoh active in the 31st c. BC during the Early Dynastic period from the state of 1st Dynasty. Died of natural causes.

Historical Note

Mythical-historical founder of pharaonic Egypt. His ceremonial palette shows him wearing the White Crown of Upper Egypt on one face and the Red Crown of Lower Egypt on the other — the first depiction of the Two Lands united.
