Isis

the Great of Magic — Throne of Pharaoh

Isis is an Egyptian goddess of magic, associated with the realm of heaven. Isis belongs to the first generation of the pantheon. Roughly equivalent to Hera in cross-pantheon mapping. Symbolised by the throne.

Historical Note

Most powerful magician among the gods. Wept Osiris back into life long enough to conceive Horus, then hid him in the Delta marshes while Set hunted them. Her cult crossed the Mediterranean and was worshipped in Rome until the year 391.
