Aeneas is a Roman hero of duty, associated with the realm of earth. Aeneas belongs to the hero generation of the pantheon. Symbolised by the trojan flame.

Historical Note

Virgil's Aeneid made Aeneas the ultimate Roman hero: pious, dutiful, willing to sacrifice personal happiness for destiny. Augustus used the epic as propaganda for his new empire.
