Saturn

Deus Temporis — Titan of Time

Saturn is a Roman god of time, associated with the realm of earth. Saturn belongs to the titan generation of the pantheon. Roughly equivalent to Cronus in cross-pantheon mapping. Symbolised by the scythe.

Historical Note

The Saturnalia — a week of feasting, gift-giving, and role reversal where masters served slaves — was the most beloved festival in the Roman calendar. Many Christmas traditions derive from it.
