Gabiene

The Battle of Gabiene was fought in 316 BC in Persia during the Hellenistic era, a land engagement against Diadochi. It ended in defeat for the Greek side.

Historical Note

Antigonus captured Eumenes's baggage train, including the Silver Shields' families. They handed Eumenes over for execution and got their families back. Antigonus had them dispersed and quietly destroyed.
