Xiapi

The Battle of Xiapi was fought in 199 AD in Central Plains during the Three Kingdoms era, a siege engagement against Lü Bu. It ended in victory for the Chinese side.

Historical Note

Cao Cao besieged Lü Bu in Xiapi for three months, then flooded the city. Lü Bu's own officers tied him up and handed him over. He begged Cao Cao for service; Cao Cao executed him on Liu Bei's advice.
