Chinese Battles

Guangzong

The Battle of Guangzong was fought in 184 AD in Central Plains during the Eastern Han era, a land engagement against Yellow Turbans. It ended in victory for the Chinese side.

Historical Note

Huangfu Song crushed the Yellow Turban leader Zhang Jue's army on the Yellow River. The eight-month rebellion had broken Han authority forever; warlords like Cao Cao first rose to prominence in this campaign.
