Chengpu
The Battle of Chengpu was fought in 632 BC in Central Plains during the Spring & Autumn era, a land engagement against Chu. It ended in victory for the Chinese side.
Historical Note
Duke Wen of Jin honored an old promise to 'retreat three days' march' if he ever met Chu — then turned and shattered them. The first great battle of the Spring & Autumn hegemons.
