Nanyue
The Battle of Nanyue was fought in 111 BC in Yangtze during the Western Han era, a siege engagement against Nanyue. It ended in victory for the Chinese side.
Historical Note
Wu of Han's expedition by land and sea destroyed the kingdom of Nanyue at Panyu, modern Guangzhou. The southern frontier reached Vietnam — a province for the next thousand years.
