The Battle of Zama was fought in 202 BC in Africa during the Republic era, a land engagement against Carthage. It ended in victory for the Roman side.

Historical Note

Scipio Africanus finally bested Hannibal, ending the Second Punic War. Carthage was reduced to a client state.
