The Battle of Trebia was fought in 218 BC in Italia during the Republic era, a land engagement against Carthage. It ended in defeat for the Roman side.

Historical Note

Hannibal's first major Italian victory. He froze the Roman infantry in the river before unleashing his cavalry and elephants from the flanks.
