Shishunaga was an Indian king active in the 5th c. BC during the Mahajanapada period from the state of Magadha. Died of natural causes.
Historical Note
Founded the Shishunaga dynasty by overthrowing the patricidal Nagadasaka — Ajatashatru's last bloody descendant. Absorbed Avanti into Magadha, completing the consolidation that the Mauryas would inherit.
