Indian Battles
Pushkalavati
The Battle of Pushkalavati was fought in 70 AD in Indus Valley during the Kushan era, a siege engagement against Indo-Parthian. It ended in victory for the Indian side.
Historical Note
Kujula Kadphises, founding king of the Kushans, took the old Indo-Parthian capital at Pushkalavati. The last Indo-Parthian Gondophares vanishes from coins; the Silk Road's Indian terminus changes hands.
