Thutmose III was an Egyptian pharaoh active in the 15th c. BC during the New Kingdom period from the state of 18th Dynasty. Died of natural causes.
Historical Note
Egypt's greatest soldier. In seventeen campaigns he made the empire reach from the Euphrates to the Fourth Cataract of the Nile. His first battle at Megiddo (1457 BC) is the earliest in human history recorded blow by blow.
