Guan Zhong was a Chinese chancellor active in the 7th c. BC during the Spring & Autumn period from the state of Qi. Died of natural causes.
Historical Note
Chancellor to Duke Huan of Qi. Created salt and iron monopolies, fixed weights and measures, and built Qi into the first Spring & Autumn hegemony. The whole later Legalist tradition cites him.
