Empress Lü Zhi was a Chinese regent active in the 2nd c. BC during the Western Han period from the state of Han. Died of natural causes.
Historical Note
Wife of Liu Bang. After his death she purged the Han imperial family, butchered his concubine Lady Qi into a 'human swine,' and ruled in fact for fifteen years. Her clan was massacred within a month of her death.
