Cao Cao was a Chinese chancellor active in the 3rd c. AD during the Three Kingdoms period from the state of Wei. Died of natural causes.
Historical Note
Brilliant poet, ruthless warlord, and master of intrigue. Reunified the north and effectively ruled in the name of a puppet Han emperor. Refused the throne himself; his son took it.
