Greek Mythology
Zeus
Cloudgatherer — King of Olympus
Zeus is a Greek god of sky, associated with the realm of olympus. Zeus belongs to the olympian generation of the pantheon. Roughly equivalent to Jupiter in cross-pantheon mapping. Symbolised by the thunderbolt.
Historical Note
Zeus could not resist mortals — he fathered Hercules, Helen of Troy, Perseus, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, Athena, and Dionysus among dozens of others, constantly enraging Hera.
