Heracles

Strongest of Mortals — Twelve Labors

Heracles is a Greek hero of strength, associated with the realm of earth. Heracles belongs to the demigod generation of the pantheon. Roughly equivalent to Hercules in cross-pantheon mapping. Symbolised by the club.

Historical Note

The Twelve Labors were imposed by the Oracle as penance for killing his wife and children in a Hera-induced madness. After death he was deified and given Hebe — eternal youth — as his wife.
