Chinese Battles

Kunyang

The Battle of Kunyang was fought in 23 AD in Central Plains during the Eastern Han era, a land engagement against Xin. It ended in victory for the Chinese side.

Historical Note

Liu Xiu (the future Guangwu) led 3,000 picked men against Wang Mang's army of 420,000 — and broke them in a thunderstorm. The Xin dynasty collapsed within weeks.
