Hasdrubal Barca was a Carthaginian general active in the 3rd c. BC during the Punic Wars period. Was killed in battle.
Historical Note
Hannibal's younger brother. Marched a second army over the Alps to reinforce him — and was destroyed at the Metaurus (207 BC). His head was thrown into Hannibal's camp.
