Vasudeva Kanva was an Indian emperor active in the 1st c. BC during the Post-Maurya period from the state of Kanva. Was assassinated.
Historical Note
Brahmin minister of the last Shunga. Murdered him and founded the brief Kanva dynasty — four kings, forty-five years, ending when the Satavahana Simuka killed the last Kanva and ended Brahmin rule at Pataliputra.
