Cimon was a Greek strategos active in the 5th c. BC during the Classical period based in Athens. Died of natural causes.

Historical Note

Son of Miltiades who won a double victory (land and sea) at the Eurymedon on a single day. Ostracized but recalled to negotiate peace with Sparta.
