Chinese Battles

Fei River

The Battle of Fei River was fought in 383 AD in Central Plains during the Jin era, a land engagement against Former Qin. It ended in victory for the Chinese side.

Historical Note

Fu Jian's 870,000-strong Former Qin army was routed by 80,000 Eastern Jin soldiers — they panicked at the cry 'Qin is beaten!' and trampled each other on the retreat. The north fragmented again.
