Hadrian was a Roman emperor of the Nerva-Antonine dynasty active in the 2nd c. AD originally from Hispania. Held power for 21 years and died of natural causes.

Historical Note

Built the wall across northern Britain that still bears his name. Greek-loving, bearded, an avid traveler.
