Narasimhagupta

Baladitya, Slayer of Mihirakula

Narasimhagupta was an Indian emperor active in the 5th c. AD during the Gupta period from the state of Gupta. Died of natural causes.

Historical Note

Crowned 'Baladitya' — the rising sun. With the king of Yashodharman of Malwa, he annihilated the Huna invader Mihirakula at Sondani (around 528 AD), saving North India from a second Hephthalite age.
