Alexander the Great was a Greek king active in the 4th c. BC during the Hellenistic period based in Macedon. Died of natural causes.

Historical Note

Conquered Persia, Egypt, and reached India in thirteen years without losing a battle. Died in Babylon at 32 — cause still disputed. His empire fractured within a generation.
