Yellow Emperor is a Chinese sage king of wisdom, associated with the realm of earth. Yellow Emperor belongs to the sage king generation of the pantheon. Roughly equivalent to Zeus in cross-pantheon mapping. Symbolised by the yellow dragon.
Historical Note
First of the Five Emperors. Defeated Chiyou at Zhuolu and unified the Yellow River tribes — credited with inventing writing, the compass, the calendar, and the silk loom.
